Provincetown Events, Fourth of July Celebration 2011

Provincetown Events are special, and this year the town put on another great Fourth of July Celebration on Monday July 4th, 2011 … always a site to see with events and activities for the whole family.

A parade kicked off the celebration at 11 am starting at the East End, at Snail Road and traveled the length of Commercial Street ending two hours later at the Coast Guard Station on Franklin Street.

A few of the highlights of the parade were the Chester Fife and Drum Corps of Connecticut and a color guard from the Coast Guard.  20 bright and colorful floats also were big crowd-pleasers.

Provincetown is a town that goes all out for this annual celebration with many of the homes and businesses decorate in red, while and blue.
