Our lodging in Cape Cod offers Fun and Sun in Provincetown this July

The weatherman says that we are on the brink of the gorgeous, warm weather that Provincetown loves so much!  Mother nature is right on track to provide us 80-degree weather for the Summer Solstice… and your Provincetown inns are officially declaring summer open for business!  And, true to the nature of our fabulous town, we are looking at a month of FUN in July, making it a perfect time to plan your tip-of-Cape Cod getaway!

Just after Independence Day celebrations, the Bears come out of migration from July 7-15, 2012 during Summer Bear Week here in P-Town.  Join our fuzzy friends for a great week of beach gatherings, pool parties, great shows, dancing, and SO much more !  This event also coincides with the Secret Garden Tour for beauty-loving bears.  Please note that some venues have strict 21+ age requirements, so cubs may need to take advantage of alternative activities in some cases.  This event does require registration to attend the scheduled events.

The girls take back control of P-Town between July 17-21, 2012 during Girl Splash.  This time it’s “the fairer sex” who will enjoy the beach parties, dancing, shows, bike tours, boat trips, an inn crawl, and more – all planned just for them!  Tickets are required to participate in this annual event.

The end of July brings Whale Week.  From July 25, 202 through July 30, 2012, the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies offers a variety of FREE family-friendly activities all aimed at the marine environment.  Learn how the entire ocean environment supports all creatures that dwell in and around the water – including us!  Enjoy seaside workshops, children’s theater, a paddle-boat race, boat tours, a seaside carnival, and more!

Provincetown is also in the midst of enjoying a great event by David Flower productions called Abrakadabra – a Haunted Cabaret – a mystical story of burlesque proportions.  This theater experience will entertain, amuse, and astound!  The show is open all summer through September 2, 2012.

Now then, just because certain listed events pertain to specific demographics, don’t think for a minute that P-Town is being exclusive.  If you know Provincetown, you certainly know better!  Provincetown is the perfect place for a relaxing and freeing vacation, and anyone and everyone is welcome any day of the week.  So plan your vacation in Cape Cod and consider our member lodging options today!
