Distinctive Inns of Provincetown Highlight: Foxberrry Inn

The Foxberry Inn

At the very west end of town, on the edge of the Cape Cod National Seashore, resides the Foxberry Inn.  This 12-room bed and breakfast is just far enough out of town to afford visitors the quiet of a true Cape Cod getaway, while being close enough to the action of downtown (just a mile to the center of town) for all the excitement and activities therein.

Proprietor John S. Gagliardi welcomes you to his meticulously restored inn at 29 Bradford Street Extension.  What was once, obviously, a local motel has been lovingly changed into one of the most comfortable , and the hospitality you can only find at one of our relaxing bed and breakfasts!  Guests rave about the genuine hospitality shown by both John and the rest of the staff, along with the location, and the delicious breakfasts.

Guestrooms at “the Fox” exude serenity with walls the color of the ocean shore, tastefully simple Cape Cod-inspired decor, and the peaceful surroundings of the Inn’s location in a quiet neighborhood near the Cape Cod National Seashore Park.  Rooms feature your choice of king-size, queen-size, or two full-size beds, and guests have high praise about the incredible comfort!  Each room features a private bathroom, A/C, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and board, and iPod alarm clocks.  Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.

The inn features an extended Continental Breakfast featuring juices, coffee, tea, cereals, baked goods, and a limited selection of delicious hot breakfast items.  Coffee, tea, and refreshments are available all day and night, perfect for the time in-between your day’s adventures and your night’s fun, or for that midnight craving!

When you get to Provincetown, you’ll notice the lack of cars in town, as most people either walk or ride bikes as transportation.  Don’t feel like walking during your stay at the Fox, and forgot your bike?  There is a bicycle rental location nearby so that you can easily get around town without bothering with a car.

If you decide not to go into town during the day, you can explore the dunes and the moors nearby.  The dunes are known for being a great workout opportunity, if you choose to make it such.

For a true bed and breakfast getaway, consider a room at the Foxberry Inn for a quiet location, unsurpassed hospitality, and an amazing vacation here in Provincetown!
